  • Print
A flood inside a convention hall at Apple Expo 2000 in Paris has damaged exhibits on the eve of a keynote by CEO Steve Jobs, according to reports.

The flood, caused by a sprinkler system inside the Porte de Versailles Hall, has left up to 2 inches of water in some booths, according to reports on Apple-oriented Web sites. Apple executives in the United States said they are checking into the reports.

According to a report on the MacNN Web site, at least half of the venue, including Apple's booth, has been flooded with about two inches of water.

Jobs' keynote, scheduled for 10 a.m. Paris time tomorrow (1 a.m. PT), was previously supposed to take place in a different building.
