Short Take: Apple online store generates millions

Apple Computer said that its new online storefront, dubbed The Apple Store, generated over $12 million in orders during its first 30 days of operation. The Web store opened November 10 and is part of Apple's new distribution strategy, which also includes a new relationship with CompUSA.
