From silicon to silicone

AdultDex gets no respect. On its own for the second year since it was kicked out of the main Comdex convention, it was this year reduced to hawking its wares in a couple of grimy rooms in the Sahara convention center. But the obscure location and faded decor didn't stop thousands of Comdex attendees from walking several long Las Vegas blocks to experience large-bosomed women sprawled out on beds of red silken sheets and, of course, interactive sex.

The annual cybersmut convention, which usually features unimaginative porn CD-ROMs, this year branched out into unimaginative cybersex through the modern miracle of the Internet.

For the bargain price of $14.95 plus $4.99 a minute, AdultDexers could teleconference with a scantily clad blonde, her silicone attributes, and lots of hair spray, courtesy of Ultravid.

"Most guys just want to talk," said Scott Holbert, president of Cyber Sex World, which runs the service. "The average call is 12 to 15 minutes long, and only about 45 seconds is the girl actually taking her clothes off," he asserted as a leopardskin-thonged woman attempted to look sexy behind a keyboard and monitor. "Hi, what's your name?" typed in one guy, creatively. "Whatever you want it to be," the virtual booth bunny responded.
