AT&T released yet another messaging phone Tuesday, and it looks a lot like AT&T's answer to the T-Mobile Sidekick in a way. The Quickfire is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard, and features 3G network support with access to AT&T Mobile Music. The Quickfire will be available in orange, lime, and silver in November for $99.99 after a two-year agreement and a mail-in rebate.

That looks a bit clunky around the display. Oh and there's no visible tactile navigation, so I'm guessing it's touch screen. Not exactly a deal-breaker, but certainly not something I'm dying to get.

Does any one know how much the phone would be without a 2 year agreement? And also when the phone will be coming out?

Haven't had my hands on the quickfire, but was a sidekick user, and if i compared the sidekick to the matrix, hands down, I would choose the quickfire over the matrix

I happen to like this idea but it does look like a lot of other phones but I definitely think that At&t needed new phones for messaging cuz they had a little amount of phones with full QWERTY keypads that weren't say the blackberry etc. I think that I like the Sam sung propel a lot, but that came out only yesterday for sales and no one has reviewed it yet so I don't know. This phone is going to be 100 dollers with mail in rebate and 100 year contract and the other ones are 80 bucks. Theirs the Pan tech Matrix, The pan tech slate the Sam sung propel and this one the At&t quickfire. I think my favourites are the Propel and this one so far.

Yes the quickfire does have the 9 digit keypad on the touch screen just like the voyager. This is going to be a super hot phone. It will be out on November 10th, and the price after mail in rebate and discount $99.00. If you wish to purchase this phone without a 2 year contract from AT&T; It's going to cost you $279.00. The quickfire has 35mbs of internal memory, and you can throw in an SD card up to 4GB. Touch Screen of course, and one hell of a qwery keyboard. Music player, 1.3 mp camera/camcorder. This bad boy only comes in silver for now. You have your choice of a black, orange, or lime keyboard. If sales are as high as projected, this phone will be out in black. As for those comparing this to the sidekick; Well..... It's 2x as nice as the sidekick, and packed with many more features. Also AT&T is the only network to offer Rollover minutes, great award winning customer service, and package deals 365 days a year. Come join the nations most reliable network, more bars in more places AT&T!!!!

LOL!!!
Thanks
Happy Customer Pennsylvania

I just go this phone today and I love it!! :)The touch screen is really easy to use and i text a lot so the full keyboard is great to have! The colors are great to pick from. The speakers are really nice for music. I don't have any complaints yet
