A responder looks on as VMRP, built by Vortex HC, appears to defy gravity. The 1.87-pound robot creates a vortex that allows it to drive straight up a wall or even upside down beneath an overhang, TEEX explained. VMRP carries two color video cameras, giving responders an extra pair of eyes in a disaster scenario.
