LiveFuels CFO Dave Jones shows off a glass of algae at the Cleantech Forum. The company is coming up with a way to produce petroleum out of algae. The science comes from Sandia National Labs. Many of the world's oil deposits actually derived from algal blooms billions of years ago.

As a gag, he is also serving up algae snacks at his booth at the show. (Actually, they are just wasabi peas.)
