Google faces lawsuit in Belgium over Google Suggest

A Belgian information technology company is suing Google alleging that the Google Suggest feature, which offers up suggestions when a person searches in Google Toolbar, includes suggestions for illegal or "cracked" versions of its software. ServersCheck introduced the court case in Leuven, Belgium, on Feb. 14 against Google Benelux, according to a statement on the ServersCheck Web site. ServersCheck said it also demanded that Google delete the name "ServersCheck" from its competitors' advertisements. Google representatives in the U.S. did not immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment.
