Sony's such a tease
If the Sony PRS-500 eBook reader is on your holiday list, you still may be one of the first to get your hands--and eyes--on this oft-delayed gadget.
Sony has shifted the digital book reader from its planned spring debut to summer and now to sometime this fall, according to an e-mail update sent by the company.

The e-mail attempts to lure fans with a peek at sample titles that will be available upon the PRS-500's release, such as "The Da Vinci Code," "Freakanomics" and others hanging out in the top 25 of The New York Times best-seller lists. Of course, if you've already polished off these titles, Sony promises 10,000 more eventually, with 15 categories and 100 subcategories.
As long as you're making a list, maybe ask Santa for Sony to start making its own deadlines.
